Still on the owl-train. This little one is number 31, but more like 231! I've begun to use this intense copper for the glowing eyes and it's very striking in person. She measures approx. 2 by 2 1/2. Most of my stones fit in the palm of a hand.

Ooh, this is gorgeous.  I love the little feet and the delicate leaves.  The copper translates very well in the picture, so I imagine it's quite beautiful in real life.  Love the shading on this, too.

what kind of paint do you use?

Thanks! I use acrylics - I do seal it, most times with a hard coat water-base finish applied at least 3 times.
